Caring for forgotten graves

Ely cemetery is a welcoming and orderly place, very well-kept by its dedicated team of groundsmen. However, as is usual in such an old cemetery, there are many graves with no living relatives left in Ely to care for them. The Friends of Ely Cemetery are providing volunteers to look after these forgotten graves, conducting light gardening and tending.

Could you help?

If you would like to get involved in tending to forgotten graves, please get in touch with our coordinator, Mandy King.

See our call for volunteers poster for more information!
