Burial Maps

Ely Cemetery is fortunate to be in possession of the original cemetery maps, drawn in 1855 and continually updated to the modern day. These have the potential to be an amazing resource, particularly for family historians, as they map the location of the burials which have taken place at the cemetery. Unfortunately, the maps, housed at the cemetery itself, are in urgent need of conservation.

Call for help!

We would welcome input from qualified individuals who might be able to help us to transcribe and preserve the maps for future generations.
